Description
This listing is for one of our Bundle Packages, designed to take the fuss and confusion out of buying a Tamiya Assembly kit. Our packages include everything you need to get your vehicle on the road (or dirt!). As the leading Tamiya retailer in the UK, it goes without saying that all kits are brand new, complete and come with the official Tamiya ESC (electronic speed controller) – Many other retailers substitute Tamiya parts and replace with cheap alternatives – which is not advised. We typically stock the full range of Tamiya Assembly kits and each car has 5 Bundle options as follows. The main differences between each type are the Radio configuration (Wheel or Stick) and the battery/charger combination. The brand of controller will be Carson or Absima depending on availability.Standard Wheel – Our standard bundle, including a “wheel” or “pistol grip” type radio and 1 battery. – 1 x 2.4ghz Transmitter & Receiver (Radio Set)- 1 x High Strength Servo (operate steering)- 1 x Overlander 2000mah 7.2v Battery (Premium brand)- 1 x Overlander Charger. (650mah charging output – charges battery in approx 3hrs)- 1 x AA Batteries for the Radio Set. Standard Stick – Identical to the Standard Wheel, but with a “Stick”, “Twin stick” type radio. Premium Wheel – Our Premium package offers faster charging and 2 batteries for longer/more flexible running.- 1 x 2.4ghz Transmitter & Receiver (Radio Set)- 1 x High Strength Servo (operate steering)- 2 x Overlander 3300mah 7.2v Batteries (3.3x more run time compared to the Standard bundle)- 1 x Overlander FAST Charger. (2000mah charging output – charges battery in approx 1.5hrs)- 1 x AA Batteries for the Radio Set.Premium Stick – Identical to the Premium Wheel, but with a “Stick”, “Twin stick” type radio. PRO Bundles – Identical to the Premium Bundles but with Carson Carry Bag & Bearings Upgrade!Which one should I buy?Our best selling and recommendation would be the Premium bundles as they offer a fast charger and with two batteries you will have ample run time. (You get two batteries & they are higher capacity). For the experienced, the PRO bundle is recommended!Stick or Wheel? This is purely down to personal preference. Feedback suggests that young children get on with Wheel radios more easily, due to the controller being more comfortable in their hands. Do I need anything else? Our bundles include everything you need to get the vehicle operational. You will require basic tools to build the model (craft knife, screw drivers etc) and you may need to purchase a tin of Spray paint if you wish to paint the body shell. The shells are typically Polycarbonate and Tamiya offer a full range of PS sprays for this purpose.

Egress (2013)
This is a re-release of the iconic Egress 4WD off-road racing buggy. The Egress first appeared in 1989. It was a follow up kit to the Avante, which had a huge fan following. The original Egress featured stacks of special racing parts. The Egress (2013) builds upon the racy original of the same name, adding modern parts to bring it fully up to speed with available battery and motor technologies available in the hobby market today. |
